Cardinals Survive in Boys Basketball

The Bethlehem Academy Cardinal boys basketball team survived Saturday in their playoff opener against a very athletic Grand Meadow team at Van Orsow Auditorium.  Head Coach Franz Boelter told KDHL on the Faribault Coaches show at Bashers Saturday the team was physical and athletic and they were.  Remember the Super Larks were state football champions in nine man last fall and you could see why when watching them on Saturday.  Joey Schoolmeesters had a great game for the Cards, tallying 13 points in the contest.  BA now plays Blooming Prairie Monday night at the Rochester Mayo Civic Auditorium and KDHL will be broadcasting the contest scheduled to begin at 7:30pm after the other semi-final between Goodhue and Southland.
