The Cannon Falls Bombers open playoff action Tuesday at Minneapolis Edison at 7:00 p.m.  The Bombers and Lake City Tigers are both in Section 4AAA.  The Tigers received the #6 seed and Cannon Falls is #5.  The top two seeds in the six team section received byes on Tuesday,  The Tommies (2-6) have an identical record as the Bombers.

#1 Breck School (7-1) and #2 St. Croix Lutheran Academy (5-3) wait and rest Tuesday.  Lake City (1-7) is at Minneapolis Roosevelt (3-5).  Cannon Falls victories were 53-19 over Zumbrota-Mazeppa and 40-24 over Triton.  The Teddies of Roosevelt defeated Edison 26-6, St. Paul Humboldt 49-21 and St. Paul Harding 39-20.

Edison's two wins came against Brooklyn Center 28-26 and Minneapolis South 18-14.

Cannon Falls finished their season Wednesday with a 14-6 loss to Lewiston-Altura.  Mason Duden tallied 113 yards rushing on 11 carries.  The Bombers amassed 264 yards on the ground and 27 through the air.  The Cardinals had 144 yards rushing and 92 passing.  Marcus Banks scored the lone Bombers touchdown on a one yard carry with 9:45 to go in the first half.  Banks also led the team in tackles with 9.  Kade Holt had two interceptions in the game for Cannon Falls.
