Burnsville Police Shoot Man At Apartment Complex

Burnsville police got a call about an apparently suicidal man with a gun at an apartment complex off of Cliff Road about 8:20PM Monday.

When Burnsville police arrived, they found the man in a tree line near the complex and, as they approached, he was found to have a gun. One of the officers fired shots and the man died at the scene.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is reviewing body camera video captured by officers at the scene and will continue the investigation.

This is the second officer-involved shooting that involves the Burnsville Police Department this year.
