The eighth annual Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Festival was Saturday, Aug. 13, with perfect weather, in downtown Faribault!

Always a fun event, the Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Festival is a fundraiser for the Paradise Center for the Arts on Central Avenue in downtown Faribault. As always, it was free to attend, but donations can be made at any of the information booths. The event went from 11AM to 11PM, the event featured 12 hours of live music. Additionally, there was an art fair and market showcasing local and regional artists, and a kids area with large inflatables. The BBQ competition awards were given at 4PM.

The music entertainment on the Power 96 Main Stage for the day included the Prairie Dog Fight Club, the Shasta Kings, the Swamp Kings, Moses Oakland, Mark Allen and the Key West Rejects, and Chad Johnson & The 8th Street Band.
