Biosecurity Updates for Livestock Trailers at Faribault-area Elevator

This is a sign that showed up at my local elevator. At that location, they grind more than 20,000 bushel of corn every day for livestock feed. You used to see livestock producers take their trailers to the elevator and get them weighed. Due to concerns about spreading disease, this is no longer allowed. If some manure were to fall off the trailer it could get into the feed and spread to another farm.
