Bethlehem Academy, Kenyon-Wanamingo and Eagan Still Top Volleyball Rankings
The Faribault Bethlehem Academy Cardinas, Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights and Eagan Wildcats have been sitting at the top of the Minnesota Volleyball Coaches Association rankings virtually all season.
In Class A, Bethlehem Academy received 13 of the 15 first-place votes, with the other two going to Mayer Lutheran. Defending state champion Waterville-Elysian-Morristown is rated No. 7 in Class A.
Caledonia is the only team to defeat Kenyon-Wanamingo so far this season and they are rated No. 5 in Class A with Section 1 schools Mabel-Canton and Hayfield at No. 8 and No. 10 respectively.
In Class 2A, Kenyon-Wanamingo received all 14 first-place votes and fellow Hiawatha Valley League schools Stewartville and Kasson-Mantorville are No. 6 and No. 7.
In Class 3A, Eagan garnered all 17 first-place votes with their 20-0 record. Lakeville South is second and pushed Eagan to a five-set match last week.
