It was a windy ride to Grand Meadow, near I-90 off Minnesota Highway 16, kind of between Austin and Rochester. It's a unique looking school with several domes over areas, including the gym where the Cardinals of Bethlehem Academy were going last night to face the Super Larks in the Subsection 1A West playoff game.

The Cards got off to a good start, getting out 10-0 before Grand Meadow got on the board, and it was a close first half with BA leading 24-21 at halftime.

Grand Meadow came out with a little more ambition after the break; they got the lead and got ahead by as much as six, and then the Cardinals got back on and the lead bounced back and forth the rest of the game. Senior Ben Jandro hit one to tie the game at 51 with about 40 seconds to go. The Super Larks hit a bucket with about 20 seconds left to retake the lead. BA took a time out to draw up a play that should have at least tied it but didn't. BA had to foul and Grand Meadow got a free throw at the other end to finish the game.

Jack Clark lead with 16 points, Brandon Trump and Alex Bongers each had 10. Our State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault players of the game were Ben Jandro and John Healy since it was their last game, and Jack Clark and Avery Hunt for their efforts. BA wrapped up at 9-19 and Grand Meadow (21-5) will face Southland on Tuesday, February 23 at 7:30PM at the Mayo Civic Auditorium.
