Best of Faribault – The Best Place to Grab Ice Cream this Summer!

Thanks to all of your votes I was sent down to Owatonna to try the best place to grab ice cream this summer!

Yep, the winner of the best ice cream place in/near Faribault is...

Blast Softserve!

This place was SO not what I was expecting. It's so cute and very welcoming. I also went on Sunday (the one day it wasn't really hot) and it was still crazy busy!

If you have never been to Blast, first of all, go and check it out sometime! Second of all, it's like those walk-up DQ's you see around. You can bike over to Blast, lock your bike at the bike rack and walk up to the window next to their insanely large menu. Seriously, I took a picture of it, there are so many options and it's all a good price too!

I got the cake batter flurry and boy do you get a bang for your buck. They piled the ice cream HIGH and it was delicious!

There's also a little walking path that you can follow while you eat your ice cream. Burn off those calories while you consume them, am I right?
