Bell Field Faribault Improvements Continue

Faribault Parks and Recreation Director Paul Penansky will be the guest on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program.

We will primarily talk about the winter Buckham Bulletin which came out recently.

The winter bulletin should have been delivered to your home but fear not, if you don't have one Paul will tell us how you can get one.

The bulletin contains all the activities of the Faribault Parks and Recreation Department and other activities throughout the community.

Details about events at the Faribault Senior Center and Buckham Memorial Library are also included.

I took a few pictures of the work at Bell Field this morning and it's coming along nicely.

Making the baseball park handicapped accessible is the goal.

Currently the fencing is down and you can see a lot of concrete has been poured with a sidewalk from the parking lot into the grandstand area.

Concrete wraps around the grandstand with a ramp going to the first base side.
