Baseline to Baseline Coverage Day Two

Our 66th consecutive year of baseline to baseline coverage of the Boys State High School Basketball Tournament continues Thursday with Class 3A and 4A Semi-Final contests.  I'll have the noon and 2pm Semis in Class 3A and Roy Koenig will have the call in the Class 4A Semis at night.  At Noon defending Class 3A Champion Minneapolis DeLasalle will play Orono and at 2pm it's Big Nine Conference Champion Austin tangling with a very tall Holy Family Catholic Fire team.  The 4A Semis feature top seed Hopkins against Shakopee at 6pm and second seed Lakeville North Meets #3 seed Cretin-Derham Hall of St. Paul at 8pm.

Class A quarterfinal games are at Williams Arena Thursday with #1 rated and #1 seeded Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa meeting Park Christian of Moorhead at 11a.m. #5 seed Fond du Lac Ojibwe of Cloquet plays #4 seed Canby at 1p.m.  On the other side of the bracket #2 seed and defending State Champion Maranatha Christian Academy of Brooklyn Park faces Red Lake at 3:00 p.m.  We'll have their Semi-final contests Friday afternoon at the Target Center.
