John Anderson

I was born and raised on the north side of Minneapolis. In the late eighties, early nineties worked for a Mom and Pop small radio station in Aitkin, Mn. Where I started out as the night dj/janitor and went on to become Program/Sports Director for an Am/Fm Combo. After a break in radio for a bit, came to KDHL in December 2006. Went on to afternoons in 2007 and have been on mornings since 2008. In December 2013 I switched to the midday shift. I am a big Twins and Vikings fan. Basketball and football are my favorite sports to do play by play. I like fishing..especially ice fishing and I spend a lot of time in playing the part of an 1840’s buck skinner at various Rendezvous around the state. And I love to hear from people about what they think about KDHL..so please share.

One of the events of the Faribault Heritage Days Festival each year, is the free community lunch put on by the crew at Trinity Lutheran Church in Faribault. Based on what some people said as Mike Eiler from Power 96 and I were down there, they generally serve about 400-500 people!
