AM Minnesota Wednesday: Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame

On Wednesday's AM Minnesota program, Art Madsen will be in studio. Art is a member of the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee and is the chairmen of the Rice County Agriculture Hall of Fame Committee. This is a program that was started 10 years ago to honor and recognize agricultural leaders in Rice County. It is sponsored by the Faribault Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee along with the Rice County Fair and the Nerstrand Agricenter.

The Hall of Fame program is held Wednesday morning during the Rice County Fair. It begins with a free breakfast sponsored by the Rice County Farm Bureau, Dakota Rice Corn and Soybean Growers, Rice County American Dairy Association, and Rice County Pork Producers. During the program we also recognize the Century Farms, Farm Family of the Year, Conservation Awards. The deadline for nominating someone for the Rice County Agriculture Hall is approaching, so if you have someone in mind contact Art Madsen.
