AM Minnesota Topic Tuesday: the Rice County Fair

I know it just snowed and it's cold outside, but the Rice County Fair is only about four months away! Tuesday on KDHL's AM Minnesota program, Rice County Fair Manager John Dvorak will be in studio. Between now and the Rice County Fair, John will be stopping by once a month to give an update on what will be going on at the 2017 Rice County Fair.

Some of the plans for the next Rice County Fair begin before the current fair is even over. Many vendors, exhibitors and carnival for example have contracts signed before leaving Faribault. However, John and other Fair Board members are always looking for new exhibitors and entertainment to bring to the Rice County Fair. There are many volunteers that make the Rice County Fair and all county fairs special. Just think, in four months we will likely be complaining because it is hot and humid.
