AM Minnesota John Dvorak

John Dvorak Rice County Fair manager will be my guest on today's AM Minnesota program. I will be talking with John every other week as we progress to the 2018 Rice County Fair. Yes, we have begun out Fair Talk for another year! In about two and a half months we will be at the Rice County Fair. It is always fun to talk with John about all the things being planned for the Rice County Fair.

Two weeks ago John shared the exciting news about a new building that will be built hopefully by this year's Rice County Fair. The Rice County Fair received a grant from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture that can be used to educate citizens about agriculture. The plan is to build a 1900's era barn on the east end of the fairgrounds next to the Rice County Historical Society. The barn can be used to educate about agriculture through out the year, not just during the Rice County Fair.
