One of my favorite local artists -- Alison Scott -- is making her return to the Paradise Center for the Arts in downtown Faribault this Saturday. The first time I saw her, she was opening for Bon Jovi at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Halfway through the first song I knew I was going to have to catch her live show again.

Lucky for me it wasn't long after that the Paradise Center for the Arts booked her for a show and I got to interview her and a copy of her latest CD, plus I was invited to the show. Once again Scott and her band put on a phenomenal show. She also performed at the Blue Collar BBQ and Arts Festival shortly after that with another crowd-pleasing performance.

If you haven't seen her yet, don't miss out on your chance to do so this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Bahl Family Auditorium at the Paradise Center for the Arts, 321 Central Ave., Faribault. Tickets are $17 for members, $22 for nonmembers and $10 for students. Call (507) 332-7372 or stop by the Box Office. Find more information at www.paradisecenterforthearts.org.
