It's a repeat: Alan Jackson has won the 2016 Golden Boot Awards Living Legend Award -- for the second year in a row.

The year 2015 was the first for the Living Legend Award, and with almost 40 percent of the votes, Jackson was the inaugural winner. This year, Jackson earned the honor with 38.2 percent of votes, against Glen Campbell,Vince GillWillie Nelson, the Oak Ridge Boys, Dolly PartonKenny Rogers,George StraitRandy TravisLoretta LynnKris Kristofferson, Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire and Charlie Daniels.

It's been 26 years since Jackson released his debut album, Here in the Real World, and 25 years since the country icon earned his first No. 1 hit, "I'd Love You All Over Again." Jackson spent much of 2015 out on the road on his 25th anniversary Keepin’ It Country Tour, and he plans to do the same in 2016.

“I have fans who have been coming to my shows for 25 years. I meet them, and they’ll pull out a picture they took of me 25 years ago!” Jackson says. “… Some people don’t like to talk about how many years they’ve been around — it makes them feel old. I’m proud of it and glad to do it.”
