Jerry Appreciates Air-Conditioned Tractor Cabs

This is a picture I took of my planter Saturday afternoon. Notice all the dust. In case you are wondering I always put a couple of bags of seed on the planter hitch. It has happened more than once that I thought I had enough seed for one more round and ran out. It is also a place to set any rocks you see.

With the high temperatures and winds, the topsoil had really gotten dry. There were times when you had difficulty seeing the planter because of all the dust. It sure was nice sitting in a pressured air-conditioned cab. It was not that many years ago you sat out on a tractor with no cab or one that was not air-conditioned. If it was warm you had to open the windows. All day long you would be breathing the dust. I guess I have been spoiled!
