AAUW Scholarships Discussed on AM Minnesota 12-17-2015

American Association of University Women Faribault branch Co-chairs Pat Fuchs and Karen Rasmussen will be joined by Emily Nesboldt on AM Minnesota today.

The local chapter is offering a scholarship for a college woman to attend the National Conference for College Women Student Leaders at the University of Maryland in June of 2016.

The $850 scholarship will fund the entire trip.

AAUW is a nonpartisan nonprofit with 170 thousand members, 1,000 local branches and 800 college and university partners across the United States.

The three AAUW Faribault members will also tell us I'm sure about the offer good through the end of this month. If you donate to AAUW your dollars will double for the organization.

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy and research.

AAUW locally is probably most famous for their annual book sale. They have always offered local scholarships for students throughout Faribault.
