The Faribault Chapter of the American Association of University Women is having a fundraiser breakfast October 30 at the Faribault American Legion.

Details about the fundraiser and all the projects AAUW is involved with will be revealed by membership co-chairs and past presidents Kathy Larson and Karen Rasmussen. We taped the program Tuesday and the women came in costume. They encourage people to come to the breakfast in costume, although it's not required.

The money raised is used for scholarships for youth.

The menu will include cheesy scrambled eggs, maple bacon, french toast, pumpkin muffins and your choice of beverage. Serving is from 8AM to 12:30PM.

Advance tickets are available at Fareway Foods, Hy-Vee and the State Bank of Faribault and are $7 for adults, children younger than 12 are $5. Tickets at the door will be $8 and $5. The Halloween Breakfast at the Faribault American Legion will be Sunday, October 30.

The local AAUW Chapter officials also discuss their hopes to name the Faribault Municipal Airport after a nationally recognized Faribault woman. I hope you will tune in for details at 9:30AM, or go to www.youtube.com/user/KDHLRadio and watch when it's more convenient for you.
