A Frosty Minnesota night

A good majority of the state of Minnesota is under a Freeze warning for tonight. That means if you have any plants outside you want to keep going yet, they probably will not make it even if you cover them as temperatures will go below freezing.

A frost advisory is in effect for a small portion of south central Minnesota. If you have plants you can’t bring in, you might be able to save them if you cover them with sheets or plastic. The next two nights look to be the coldest of the week.

Here is a look at the NWS chart for the advisories that are out.

Dark Blue is the Freeze warning, light blue is frost advisory area. Pink is a special advisory and tan is another advisory. Check details at weather.gov.
