Mother's Day is here, and hopefully you've spent some time with your mother and showered her with gifts, treats and many thanks for everything she has done for you. I have an amazing mom; my siblings and I were truly blessed with a wonderful woman. There are so many things I would like to say to my mom, but sometimes, I don't have the words to fully express what I would like. Luckily for me, there are others who have been able to articulate how amazing moms really are!

"Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love."  -- Stevie Wonder

"God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers." -- Rudyard Kipling

"Sometimes the strength of motherhood is greater than natural laws." -- Barbara Kingsolver

"Mother's love is peace. It need not be acquired, it need not be deserved." -- Erich Fromm

"The heart of a mother is a deep abyss at the bottom of which you will always find forgiveness." -- Honore de Balzac

"My mother taught me about the power of inspiration and courage, and she did it with a strength and a passion that I wish could be bottled." -- Carly Fiorina

"Our mothers give us so many gifts. They give us the precious gift of life, of course, but they also leave treasured lessons that can guide us along our journeys even when they are no longer with us." -- Maria Shriver

"Mothers are the people who love us for no good reason. And those of us who are mothers know it's the most exquisite love of all." -- Maggie Gallagher

"Throughout my life, my mom has been the person that I've always looked up to." -- Mike Krzyzewski
