The Class A #4 Goodhue Wildcats traveled to #1 Rushford-Peterson Friday night and after a 55 minute lightning delay crushed the Trojans 36-0.

The Wildcats had 380 yards rushing and 61 yard passes and held Rushford-Peterson to 66 yards rushing and 8 yards passing.

The Trojans were only able to pick up three first downs to Goodhue's eight.

Goodue was led by 5'9 170 pound senior running back Mason Huemann's 184 yards on 18 carries including a 68 yard touchdown.

5'11 175 pound junior Kaleb O'Reilly had two touchdowns while rushing 10 times for 82 yards.

6'3 175 pound senior Casey Ryan had 10 carries for 57 yards and a score.

5'9 160 pound receiver Mariano Bigalk scored Goodhue's first TD on a 8 yard end

6'2 180 pound quarterback Jack Gadient was 4 of 7 passing for 61 yards and his favorite target was 6'5 215 pound tight end Ryan Schoenfelder with 3 catches for 59 yards.

The Wildcats scored on a blocked punt that went out of the end zone for a safety.

The Wildcats will host Kingsland next Friday then finish their regular season at Southland the Wednesday of MEA week, October 18.
