The 2016 Steele County Free Fair will be here next week already, running from Aug. 16-21, and there is no shortage of entertainment! Well-known as being Minnesota’s largest county fair, there is something for everyone in the family. This year’s grandstand events are sure to be big hits.

As the Steele County Free Fair kicks off on Tuesday, Aug. 16, the grandstand will be hosting Dirt Kickin’ Wicked Bull Riding. On Wednesday, Aug. 17, a Battle of the Bands will be held in the grandstand before local band Chris Brooks and the Silver City Boys hits the stage. Thursday is sure to be a favorite of ’80s rock fans when Hairball performs. On Friday, feel the rumble during the tractor pull in the grandstands. Saturday starts with an antique tractor pull, and later in the evening is the enduro races. The grandstand events schedule concludes on Sunday with the demolition derby.

There are plenty of other things to check out at the Steele County Free Fair as well, including the Auto Museum, pig races, petting zoo and Human Cannonball.
