2015 Country Jam is officially rolling — after a strong Day 1, it's safe to say this country party is rockin'. With acts like Sasha McVeigh, Parmalee, the Band Perry and more on Thursday (June 18), there were many memorable, hilarious, talent-filled and musically astounding moments. But there were a handful that will be etched in the minds of fans for years to come.

Check out these 4 OMG Moments that took place on the first day of Country Jam 2015. They include a cover, a story about a "sausage dog," a Rascal Flatts reference and more.

4. Sasha McVeigh Opens Up About Her 'Sausage Dog'

Sasha McVeigh is a talented country newcomer — and apparently a huge dog lover. While performing her charismatic set, the singer couldn't help but open up about one special furry friend in her life: her "sausage dog." Her dog, she explained from stage, is what Americans call "wiener dogs" (and part chihuahua). One of her catchiest, most passionate songs, “Hot Mess," is a fan-favorite due to its fiery lyrics, and when she sings it to her dog, she changes up the lyrics to say, “Wanna be a hot dog!” How can you not love McVeigh after that admission?

3. LoCash Call Out 'Rascal Flatts'

The LoCash guys, Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, have a sharp sense of humor. During their highly entertaining set, Brust singled out three guys in the crowd who were sitting down while everyone else was standing. And he was determined to get them off their seats and on their feet. So he looked at the three shirtless [white] dudes and said, “I didn’t know Rascal Flatts were here. You guys gotta stand up!” He even went on to call one of them Gary [LeVox], and we're not sure who laughed harder — the duo, the fans, or the three guys.

2. Parmalee Deliver a "Wrecking Ball" ... Sort Of

During Parmalee's string of cover songs during their Country Jam 2015 performance, there was one that stood out the most. It was their interpretation of Miley Cyrus‘ “Wrecking Ball." The melody was familiar, but the lyrics were very, very different. The band re-wrote it as "Fireball," and during the rather hilarious chorus, lead vocalist Matt Thomas sang: “We never stood a chance at all / The fireball wrecked me / The fireball wrecked … Parmalee.

1. The Band Perry's "Fat Bottomed Girls" Cover

The Band Perry have performed "Fat Bottomed Girls" for fans before, and we're so glad it seems to be an ongoing part of their set, because there's no one better than Neil Perry to lead the Queen hit. Add in the fact that sister Kimberly has got a derrière that's one to envy and one she loves to shake? We're liking what the Perrys' mama gave 'em. Neil taking the lead is a highlight of the performance, but what makes this No. 1 on our 4 OMG Moments From Thursday at Country Jam 2015 list is all of KP's sassy confidence in letting it all hang out.
